Terms of Service

1. Introduction

InSwipe is operated by Ali Sokkar (AliSokkar.dev), based in Turkey ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of InSwipe ("the Platform"). By creating an account or using InSwipe, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use InSwipe, consistent with Dribbble's Terms of Service. By using InSwipe, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account & Authentication

InSwipe uses Dribbble OAuth as its sole authentication method. When you sign in, we access your Dribbble profile data and published shots through Dribbble's API. You authorize this access by logging in.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Dribbble account. Any activity that occurs through your InSwipe account is your responsibility. If you believe your account has been compromised, revoke InSwipe's access from your Dribbble application settings and contact us immediately.

4. How InSwipe Works

InSwipe is a design feedback platform. When you connect your Dribbble account, your published shots are made available for other InSwipe users to rate. You can also rate other designers' shots. All shots displayed on InSwipe are sourced from Dribbble and remain hosted on Dribbble's servers — we do not copy or re-host your images.

By using InSwipe, you consent to having your publicly available Dribbble shots displayed to and rated by other users on the Platform. You may disable individual shots from being shown using the shot management features.

5. Vals (Validation Points)

InSwipe features a virtual currency called vals (validation points). You earn vals by rating other designers' shots and through referrals. Vals are used within the Platform to access certain features and prioritize your shots for feedback.

  • Vals have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or any form of payment
  • We may offer the ability to purchase vals in the future, subject to additional terms
  • We reserve the right to adjust, reset, or modify the vals system at any time
  • Vals are non-transferable between accounts

6. Referral Program

InSwipe offers a referral program where you can earn vals by inviting other designers to the Platform.

  • Each user may refer a maximum of 5 people
  • Referral bonuses are awarded only when the referred user completes registration and onboarding
  • Creating fake or duplicate accounts to exploit the referral system is strictly prohibited and will result in account termination
  • We reserve the right to revoke referral bonuses obtained through abusive or fraudulent means
  • We may modify or discontinue the referral program at any time

7. User Conduct & Content

When rating shots or leaving reviews on InSwipe, you agree to:

  • Provide honest and constructive feedback
  • Not use profanity, slurs, or offensive language
  • Not harass, bully, or personally attack other designers
  • Not post spam, advertisements, or irrelevant content
  • Not manipulate ratings through fake accounts or coordinated behavior

We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any ratings or reviews that violate these guidelines. Repeated violations may result in temporary suspension or permanent termination of your account.

8. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain full ownership of your Dribbble shots and any other content you create. By using InSwipe, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to display your publicly available Dribbble shots within the Platform for the purpose of facilitating ratings and feedback.

Our content: The InSwipe name, logo, design, and the Platform's code and features are owned by Ali Sokkar. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of InSwipe without our written permission.

Dribbble content: All shot images remain hosted on and owned by their respective creators on Dribbble. InSwipe does not claim ownership of any design content sourced via the Dribbble API.

9. Content Removal

In accordance with Dribbble's API Terms, if you or Dribbble request the removal of your shots or personal information from InSwipe, we will remove it within 24 hours. You can also disable individual shots from being rated through the Platform's shot management features.

10. Disclaimers

InSwipe is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy or quality of ratings and reviews provided by other users
  • Any loss of vals due to system changes or account termination
  • Dribbble API availability or changes to their service
  • Any damages resulting from your use of the Platform

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ali Sokkar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of InSwipe.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to InSwipe at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the Platform, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our discretion.

You may stop using InSwipe at any time by revoking access from your Dribbble application settings. To request deletion of your data, contact us at us@inswipe.app.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Turkey.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of InSwipe after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
